REVIEWS

The End of Part One was constructed on the fly. First came the songs. Then came rehearsing and recording drum tracks with Steve Pitkin. Then Tim laid down the rest of the stuff, mostly at home. Then Tim called Bass and Yawd to put a live band together. A couple more songs were recorded, with the new band. Then, Tim asked part-time Buttless Chaps member, Ida Nilsen to contribute vocals and piano to the record.

The End of Part One was released on August 23 on Vancouver-based label,
Northern Electric
.

The Whale Music Concert is the latest release from Tim's other band, The Rheostatics. It's a double album recorded in 1992, live at Toronto's Bathurst Street Theatre. The show captures a very special period for the band as it was the first big Toronto performance following the release of their critically acclaimed album, Whale Music. The live performance included special guests such as Kevin Hearn, Andy Stochansky, Meryn Caddell and The Bird Sisters.

The album comes complete with high-quality album artwork by guitarist, Martin Tielli. In addition to the home-printable PDF artwork, we have included a high-resolution copy of the cover. This can be used to create a high quality framed print at your favourite photo shop. Martin's artwork will look great on a wall in your house.
